Sara began her formal training with Andrew and Cheryl Rist in Saint Paul MN at age 6. At age 15 she moved to New York City to study with Gelsey Kirkland and later Edward Ellison and Erin Forrest. By invitation of Oleg Vinogradov, Sara had the opportunity to perform full length Giselle in the title role in Saint Petersburg, Russia at age 19. Later, during her employment with the Stuttgart Ballet, she successfully presented her first choreographic work and also performed Robert Robinson’s solo creation, "Out", at the Stuttgart Ballet’s Noverre Society. Sara is very grateful to be part of such a unique company, and appreciates the opportunity to learn and grow with other passionate young artists under the BJB’s humanistic and universal vision.
